FAMILY AWARENESS:

  • One-on-one interaction in group setting, or private, addressing potential mood swings and mental changes that will occur in his/her disposition while experiencing Life in Federal Prison.
  • Brief the immediate family of judicial processes and prison policies.
  • Counsel loved ones with the emotional and psychological trauma related to arrest, prosecution and incarceration.
  • Encourage proactive efforts to seek judicial, administrative, and political support.
  • One-on-One interaction in group or private settings addressing suggestions and preparations for loved one's return home and re-entry into society.





  • Keep relatives apprised of 
       client's current custody 
       status, along with pro-active
       steps in which he/she can 
       gain a lower custody status.
  • Explain prison visitation and
       mailing regulations and
       restrictions.
  • Explain the need for family
       members to register with
       Various Prison Support
       Groups and Publications
